Privacy Notice

What personal data PLASMICA d.o.o. collects through this website, release updates, correspondence, and purchases, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who is responsible

PLASMICA d.o.o., R. Boškovića 32, 21000 Split, Croatia, Croatia, VAT-ID HR57846556748, is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, write to licensing@prelimina.com.

This notice covers this website, release-update emails, correspondence with us, and purchases of Prelimina licences and subscriptions. The Prelimina desktop application does not send any data to us: your simulation projects, inputs, and results stay on your own computer, and the Licence Agreement gives us no permission to publish them or use them to train AI models.

2. What we collect and why

Visiting the website

The website uses no analytics, advertising, session replay, remote fonts, third-party embeds, or cookies. To deliver pages securely, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser, and the pages requested. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. We do not keep our own request logs.

Release updates

If you subscribe, we process your email address and the time of your consent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France). You are only added after you confirm by email. We use the address solely to tell you about Prelimina releases and the browser version. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email. We keep the address until you unsubscribe.

Contacting us

When you email us, we process your name, email address, and the content of your message to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying, or steps before a contract when you ask about a licence. We keep correspondence as long as needed to deal with it and any follow-up, and no longer than three years after it ends unless it relates to an order.

Buying a licence or subscription

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for our orders and collects your payment details directly; we never receive your full card or bank details. Paddle shares with us the information needed to provide and administer your licence: name, email address, company name and VAT number if given, country, products bought, prices, order and subscription status. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and our legal obligations under accounting and tax law. We keep order records for as long as Croatian accounting and tax law requires, and licence records for as long as the licence is active plus the period in which claims can be brought.

3. Who receives your data

  • Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom), as Merchant of Record for orders, payments, invoicing, tax, and refunds. Paddle acts as an independent controller under its privacy notice.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), for website hosting and security.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), for release-update emails.
  • Our email provider, for correspondence.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities where the law requires.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

4. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as for the United Kingdom, or for US companies certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise a right, email licensing@prelimina.com. We respond within one month. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; in Croatia this is the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

6. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access limited to people who need it, and providers bound by data processing terms.

7. Changes

We will update this notice when our processing changes. The date above shows the current version.
